Horseback Riding

Mosaic is the sweet, dependable 18-year-old mare used for these activities. She’s 14.3 hands high, so she has a 200-pound weight limit. She’s the only horse permanently at the ranch and is used for the following activities. Helmets are available and required for those under 18. All riders will sign a standard liability agreement.

Laura is a CHA-certified instructor for beginning and intermediate Western riding. As a retired teacher, she explains and demonstrates things clearly and has lots of patience. She’s also worked in equine therapy and has been certified as an Equine Specialist through EAGALA.
